Ein Bild ist für mich erst dann interessant, wenn es dich kurz aus dem Kopf holt und du unbewusst länger daran hängen bleibst.
Genau darum geht es mir. Ich male nicht, um etwas möglichst genau zu kopieren, sondern um dieses Gefühl greifbar zu machen. Jedes Bild entsteht freihand und ohne Raster, weil ich mein Motiv verstehen will. Nicht nur die Form und die Farben, sondern vor allem was dahinter liegt.
Ich fokussiere mich auf Tiere und ihre Lebensräume. Tiere fühlen genauso wie wir, nur ohne Maske und ohne Erwartung. In ihren Emotionen findest du oft ein Stück von dir wieder.
Mir ist wichtig zu zeigen, dass diese Welt nicht nur eine schöne Kulisse ist. Natur und Tiere sind die Grundlage für alles, auch für uns. Deshalb fließt auch ein Teil meines Gewinns dahin, wo genau das geschützt wird, was mich tagtäglich inspiriert.
Wenn eins meiner Bilder dich kurz anders auf die Welt schauen lässt, dann hat es genau das geschafft, was es soll 🙂

For me, a painting is only interesting if it distracts you from your own thoughts for a moment and you find yourself unconsciously lingering in front of it for a while.
That is exactly my goal. I don’t paint to reproduce something as accurately as possible, but to make that feeling tangible. Every painting is created freehand and without a grid, because I want to understand my subject. Not just the shape and the colors, but above all what lies behind them.
I focus on animals and their habitats. Animals feel just as we do, only without a mask and without expectations. In their emotions you often find a piece of yourself.
It’s important to me to show that this world isn’t just a beautiful backdrop. Nature and animals are the foundation of everything, including us. That’s why a portion of my profits goes toward protecting exactly what inspires me every day.
If one of my paintings makes you look at the world a little differently for a moment, then it has achieved exactly what it was meant to 🙂
